Planning granted for school extension

Re-Format has gained planning and listed building consent on behalf of Prince’s Mead School, for a contemporary extension to the school’s Grade 2* listed accommodation at Worthy Park House.

The new accommodation provides a dedicated kitchen and dining hall with teaching spaces above. It’s simple recessed masonry façade is conceived as a complimentary reference to the ordered Georgian façade of the main house.

Planning approval in Emsworth

Detailed planning approval has been granted for a scheme of 25 retirement apartments on a secluded site in the heart of Emsworth on the South Coast. Designed for McCarthy and Stone the elegant contemporary building sits within lush landscaped grounds surrounded by mature trees. Construction work is due to start on site later this year.

Wexham School progress

January 2nd, 2018


Construction is progressing well on our new build at Wexham School for Slough Borough Council /SUR with Morgan Sindall. The project reconnects the school campus creating a new formal collegiate courtyard. The steel frame which reveals the dramatic two storey covered entrance to the school is now in place and completion on site is due Autumn 2018 for the 2018/19 academic year.

Cirencester completes

Work has recently completed on the McCarthy & Stone development of 34 ‘later living’ apartments in the Cotswold town of Cirencester, with all the apartments being fully reserved. Although contemporary in design, the careful selection of materials and detailing complement and enhance the historical setting.
