Planning Consent in Essex

We are pleased to share that our McCarthy Stone scheme in Witham, comprising 46 apartments and 19 bungalows, has been granted planning permission at committee.

As a part of a wider development application by Perseus Land & Developments, the scheme will sit alongside a 72 bed care home, designed by Harris Irwin Architects. The retirement living apartment building will also contain space for up to four different retailers.

The design was commended by the committee members with a unanimous vote. The team was congratulated on its hard work and collaboration with the planning and design officers. It was a pleasure working with the planners during the Pre-App process to reach a design that both the client and the council were happy with. A good example of how public design collaboration should work.
