Planning consent at Wispers Detailed planning consent has been granted for the development of a residential scheme at Wispers Estate near Midhurst. With a Grade II listed house designed by Richard Norman Shaw on site, the proposals seek to remove the dilapidated 1960s school additions and return the house and its gardens to glory. Modern dwellings will be inserted into the revived site with reference to the site’s farmstead origins and with respect to the grand landscape that surrounds it.
