Planning submitted in Eastleigh

Plans have been submitted for The Folds, our contribution to One Horton Heath for Eastleigh Borough Council – one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious new neighbourhoods. We’ve been appointed to design 629 new homes and a new primary school as part of a development that will deliver 2,500 homes, shops, workspaces, parks and sports fields – with 35% affordable housing built in.

The masterplan is shaped around the principles of walkability, legibility and a strong sense of place. Tree-lined streets connect to quieter residential routes and dedicated walking and cycling paths. Apartments are located closer to the local centre and transport links in the south, while lower-density homes transition gradually towards the countryside to the north. A network of squares and focal points is woven through the neighbourhood, creating character and helping residents and visitors navigate the area.
