Planning Submitted for Clayton Court Estate

A planning application has been submitted for the redevelopment of Clayton Court in Hill Brow, Hampshire. The previous care home, owned by the De La Salle brothers, will be converted into a country estate reimagined for modern living.

Following the consent of our conversion of Norman Shaw’s Wispers Estate in the South Downs National Park, this modern revival of a Brownfield estate demonstrates renewal as a model for adaptive reuse in the countryside.

The project comprises works to the existing main house, coach house, and former model farm buildings to form 18 residential dwellings. Guided by a landscape-led approach, the scheme prioritises preserving the site’s historic architecture and natural features while removing past unsympathetic modifications.
