Elthorne Park High School

Elthorne Park High School

A new £15m building at Elthorne Park High School in Ealing. The three storey teaching block includes a new auditorium, ICT and teaching spaces, a learning resource centre and ARP (Additionally Resourced Provision) facility.

To achieve a very challenging programme the design team made full use of the latest BIM (Building Information Management) software and off- site manufacturing. The design was completed and a detailed set of planning drawings produced in only six weeks. From the outset of the design process the mechanical and electrical services and the structural system were fully integrated into a three dimensional CAD model. The building was manufactured in Austria and imported in cassette sections and assembled in a matter of weeks.

“Re-Format was given the daunting task of designing a complex building on a very restrictive site to a very tight time scale. They fully met the challenge and I’d be pleased to recommend them for future projects.”
