Ian joined Re-Format in 2021
Ian graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 1993, he qualified as an Architect and joined the ARB register in 1998.
Ian worked for 28 years at Broadway Malyan, where he was Director of Architecture in their Reading Office and Compliance Manager for the business. He has a well-rounded experience of designing in a broad range of sectors and project types, with a wealth of experience of commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, private and social housing and education buildings. He has led project teams on numerous projects including new builds and those involving refurbishment and sympathetic extension to listed buildings.
Ian enjoys being fully engaged on projects, both in design and management. From initial client contact and inception on projects, through outline design and planning stages, detail design and delivery stages to completion and post occupancy evaluation, Ian is thorough and technically proficient. Within our team, he continues to strengthen our business management systems and Re-Format’s compliance with our ISO external accreditation.
As a qualified Project Manager Ian has a mix of skills, offering a well balanced view of quality, specification, value and time and a thorough understanding of the complete design and construction process. Working within the team to achieve the project goals his approach is client focussed.
