Downsbrook Middle School
Re-Format was commissioned by West Sussex County Council to expand Downsbrook Middle School to a 3FE, 630 place primary school. The new build accommodation replaces a dilapidated temporary classroom block and includes 6 new classrooms and 2 specialist classrooms (cooking and IT), along with a new music room, new WC facilities, a group room, an IT hub/resource area, a teaching courtyard and external teaching areas.
Changes to the existing building include an expanded staffroom with kitchen facilities, new library, quiet room and re-planned admin offices complete with a new reception area. Work completed on time for the new school year and has been well received by staff, pupils and parents.
