4 storey young persons hostel and training facilities. Unique town centre development consolidating disparate and outdated client facilities.
The £3.8m building includes living accommodation for 30 young people and also houses a training room, IT suite, support services, interview rooms and staff offices. The multi-faceted requirements of this unique project were meticulously designed into the new ‘eye-catching’ building to maximise the available space whilst creating inviting and generous internal spaces.
“The new building, with its bright, modern feel and improved facilities, has demonstrably increased clients’ self-esteem, their desire to succeed, and their willingness to work with others to ‘make it work’ . We are confident from our study of similar projects that the new building is one of the best designed and run services for young homeless people in the country today.”

“The finished article is well presented. I was also very impressed at the internal layout and the study/bedroom design. Well done to you and your colleagues.”
