Overview
Primary school for 420 pupils replacing the original Victorian school in a high density inner city location. Winner of a national RIBA Design Award, Civic Design Award and featured on CABE’s website as ‘one of 80 world class buildings’. Because of the popularity of the school Re-Format was commissioned to extend the original scheme. A visitor commented, ‘school was never like this in my day’.
